Join the Commissioners King's visit to PolyVation and get a nice real-life insight in our thrilling world of generating polymers for regenerative medicine. From idea to clinic - from lab to patient. In the video published on YouTube (Dutch-spoken) our CEO Theo Flipsen and his fellow directors speak with the Commissioners King René Paas about the unique business focus of PolyVation. You will also see the newly created facilities for clean manufacturing of polymers. The cleanrooms, specifically tailored for chemical synthesis and purification of a new class of bioresorbable hydrophilic polymers, were about ready. Just before we started the qualifcation we could give the Commissioners King and his delegation a tour inside the facility. The facility is nowadays qualified and no longer accessible for visitors, so it was a one of a kind opportunity.
The shown new facility is part of the ongoing PolyVation3.0 investment project. PolyVation3.0 also encompasses the new cleanroom facilities to be fully equipped with multiple manufacturing lines engineered specifically for the making of the new class of bioresorbable hydrophilic polymers at kg scale and train operator staff for working in the new facilities to execute the processes. The project entails an overall investment of 5 million Euro. PolyVation3.0 is thankfully co-financed by the European Union through the Just Transition Fund.
